William Angliss Institute is recruiting two part time positions for Café Cook and Café Food Attendant / Barista to work between both retail food outlets known as Café Imparo and the Rubric Student Training Restaurant. Both outlets have a commercial focus where the main emphasis is on quality customer and food service.

  1. Food Handlers Certificate
  2. Prior experience in a similar environment and advanced coffee skills
  3. Good communication skills and ability to work within a team

  5. Knowledge of food health and safety procedures including storage and stock rotation
  6. Good numeracy skills to perform cash handling/cash up

Pastry Chef Wanted

Join the team at Bistro Moncur Restaurant Woollahra (10 minutes walk from Edgecliff station). They produce dessert with really good standard and have our their Pastry Section. They make Their own breads, ice creams and plated desserts. Friendly team and staff.

Good hourly rate and legal pay with tax.

This position is casual so it is good for students.

If you can work under pressure such as in busy service, clean, fast, on time and want to learn new things, this could be the job for you!

CHEF NEEDED FOR CAFE

Looking for a 2 x FULL TIME Chefs to join our new and hip cafe within the Padstow region.

You will have the ability to help develop the menu and work autonomously most of the time.

 

Hours will range between our trading hours; Monday to Sunday. 6.30AM TO 4PM

 

Skills and Requirements;

- Trade Qualified Chef

- Commercial Kitchen Experience

- Capable of managing all kitchen and ordering duties

Sydney Supercat Cruises’ are looking for Trainee chef or Qualified Cook over the busy Vivid Period.  At this stage it is for 4 weeks only, starting Thursday 24th May.  However, there is potential to be permanent if the fit was right on both sides. They are looking to pay a great hourly salary for the 4 weeks and this is also negotiable.

·        Flexible hours – will be required to work some nights as well as weekends when required.

On Monday 31 July all Cookery and Patisserie Stage 1 students have a Careers and Jobs Session on their timetable from 10am. There will be a lot of helpful information about resume writing to make you stand out from the crowd.
