ATTENDING GRADUATION

1. Eligibility

Graduation ceremonies are open to all students who are eligible to graduate.
Check your eligibility to graduate; you will be eligible if:

  • All of your academic requirements have been met and you have no outstanding fees
  • You have completed your studies by the end of Semester 2 2024

Contact your Student Management Centre if you have questions about your eligibility to graduate.

2. Check your details are correct and up-to-date

Log in to eStudent to check your details are correct. We will use the name in eStudent for printed certificates and testamurs, and your mailing address will be used to deliver your certificate.

3. Check your SMS and myWAI for updates

You will receive communication, including updates in the lead to the graduation ceremony via SMS. MyWAI also has regular updates, including the Graduation Information Kit to help with questions.

4. Attending your ceremony

You need to book tickets to participate in your ceremony. Please note, students who do not book tickets do not get automatically added.

Tickets can be purchased online below from 8:00am Monday 3 February 2025.

GRADUATION BOOKING

 

  • Individual invitations are not issued by William Angliss Institute. Graduands must book their tickets by 5pm on Friday 28 February 2025, to be able to attend the August ceremonies.
  • Cost of tickets is $60 per VET graduand ticket, $80 per Higher Education graduand ticket and $50 per guest (2 guests). Due to the high number of graduands and venue capacity, there is a strict maximum of 2 guests, per graduand. Please note, tickets are not exchangeable, transferrable or refundable.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the deadline to register and buy tickets?
The cut-off date to register and buy tickets for the upcoming ceremonies is 5:00pm on Friday 28 February 2025 sharp. Please note, all tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or transferred to another graduand.

When/How will I receive my guest tickets?
Tickets for graduands and guests are available online via Reed Graduations. After registering, you will receive an email notification regarding your purchased tickets.

I only have one guest attending. Can I give my spare guest ticket to another graduand?
Please note graduands are allowed a maximum of 2 guest tickets. All guest tickets are not exchangeable or transferrable to another graduand.

I missed the deadline to register for graduation and want to attend the ceremony. What should I do?
All graduands are allowed to defer for up to two ceremonies. Please contact the Graduation Team (graduation@angliss.edu.au) directly.

The next ceremony will be held in August 2025.

I have outstanding debts with the Institute. Will this affect my graduation, even if I have registered and paid online?
Please make sure that you clear all debts with the Institute before registering to graduate as any outstanding debts will result in not being eligible to attend.

How do I defer/graduate in absentia?
Students must select the 'defer' or 'graduate in absentia' on Reed Graduations from 8:00am Monday 3 February 2025 and must be registered by 5:00pm Friday 28 February 2025, sharp. Register online

How do I access my Graduation Documents online?
Access the Graduation Documents, including the following digital documents:

  • Vocational Education and Training Testamur
  • Higher Education Testamur
  • Statement of Attainment
  • Statement of Results
